Our government has banned the sale of dirt bikes and 4 wheelers for kids under the age of 13! The parts for those bikes are banned, too. Blake and millions of other kids all over the country won't be able to replace worn or broken parts for their bikes while this absurd law is in effect. OUTLAW MX RANCH HOSTS 2ND RACE OF '09 SEASON

Blake, friends, and family had fun racing at Outlaw MX Ranch in Millbrook, AL. We arrived on Fri evening so Blake could practice on Saturday and after a few laps feeling out the track, he began throwing down some great laps. The Outlaw track is a supercross style with several rhythm sections of doubles and triples. After dialing in his suspension and making a sprocket change, Blake felt ready for the race on Sunday.

Saturday night Blake celebrated his birthday at his grandmother's house with beef on weck and homemade sundaes. We all enjoyed some great racing on Sunday. Blake challenged much more experienced riders all day and advanced two positions from the first moto to the 2nd. We all had fun hanging out with friends and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Blake's 3rd race of the CAM series is at Noah's MX Park so come watch Blake catch some air!

A MONSTER GETS LOOSE AT NOAH'S MX

The AMSOIL/iProsper.net Monster Kawasaki KX65 was let loose Sat & Sun and it left its tracks all over Noah's MX Park! After a couple warm up laps, Blake settled in on his new bike and began airing it out on several table tops and only a couple hours after we arrived he was hitting one of the doubles.

Blake had the track to himself Sat afternoon and early Sun morning, but some friends showed up later and the riding was fun to watch. When asked if he liked his new KX Blake replied "You bet" and hit the track again.

.
Blake couldn't enjoy a new bike and all the other expenses that go along with a full MX season without his sponsors: AMSOIL/StogieOil.com, iProsper.net, and ASV.

BLAKE BREAKS IN NEW KX65

Blake and his friend Jared enjoyed unusually beautiful weather by kicking up some dust at Jared's house. Blake had a great day breaking in his new KX65 and really got the hang of the clutch and 6 speed gearbox. He and Jared were getting some good air off a couple small jumps by the days end.

Blake can't wait to hit the track on his new bike. We're headed that way this weekend. Come hang out with us at Noah's MX and hopefully we'll enjoy another weekend of great weather.

BLAKE'S SURPRISED WITH NEW 2009 KAWASAKI KX65 MONSTER EDITION

Blake popped into the garage to find a new resident of our two wheel family, a brand new 2009 KX65 Monster Edition, a limited edition Monster Energy model with black plastics, Monster graphics, green hubs, green rear spring, and more. An early birthday present, Blake was surprised to see it. This will allow him to move up to the 65cc 7-9 class and ride with his friends Cody, Alex, Chappel, and others.

A 65 is the first bike most kids ride with a real hand clutch and 6 gears. It'll take some getting used to, but Blake's nearing the big time with this bike. He'll be jumping higher, cornering faster, and ripping up the terrain of Alabama soon!

Watch for Blake in the '09 outdoor season on the CAMS circuit and the Alabama State Series. He couldn't enjoy a new bike and all the other expenses that go along with a full MX season without his sponsors: AMSOIL/StogieOil.com, iProsper.net, and ASV.

NEVER TOO COLD FOR MX! BLAKE & FRIENDS PRACTICE AT NOAH'S IN FREEZING COLD!

Blake, his dad, and Matt Ward braved the freezing weather (it dropped into the low 20's) and camped overnight at Noah's MX Park so they could be the first riders on the track. They started riding at 8:00 am and had to scrape the ice off their seats. The track was good and after the corners thawed out it got even better.

Blake made some great runs on his KTM and hit an uphill double and got real close to hitting a couple others. Blake's dad hit a couple doubles and Matt Ward hit a few doubles, too.

Everyone had  a great time and can't wait to return! Blake plans to make many more trips to Noah's MX and other tracks during the off-season to get better, faster, and higher! Keep an eye out for the #88 KTM. It just might be passing you!

BLAKE WINS 2nd PLACE & 3rd PLACE OVERALL SEASON POINTS IN CAMS '08 OUTDOOR SERIES

Blake rode hard all season and faced some stiff competition! After racing the CAMS circuit and visiting 3 tracks on multiple dates throughout '08, braving the cold and the 100° summer weather, rain and mud, Blake has locked down an overall 2nd place podium and 3rd place podium!

Blake only rode in the Open 4-Stroke class for part of the '08 season and still finished 2nd overall! The only bike faster than him was a KLX110 with an engine twice the size of Blake's and ridden by a much older, and more experienced rider. Blake displayed some great skill competing in this class and everyone that watched him race couldn't believe he was riding a 50cc bike and beating 70's, 90's, and 110's. He did great!

The 50cc Entry class was a tough class in '08! Blake competed against several experienced riders and every race was a hard fought battle! Blake quickly entered a season points race with two other riders and Blake traded positions with them from race to race. Unfortunately, Blake's commitments to his baseball and football teams caused him to miss several races that handicapped his season points standings. Despite that, Blake earned the 3rd place podium for overall season points and had a huge lead over the next place rider.

Blake had a great 2008 outdoor season in the CAMS series! Finishing 2nd & 3rd in his first season of racing is pretty impressive! He faced riders every race with multiple years of riding experience and Blake never backed down. He's become faster every race, every lap, every turn and made some great friends! He looks forward to racing in select events of the '08/'09 Arenacross season and practicing for the '09 CAMS circuit.

Blake and his team could not have had such a great season without the help of AMSOIL, StogieOil.com, and iProsper.net! The support of these companies were integral in the success of the '08 season. Please visit their sites, purchase some products/services, and tell 'em to keep supporting Blake Ander and the KTM #88 and Honda #88!

BLAKE WINS HOLESHOT AND 2ND PLACE & 4TH PLACE PODIUMS AT NOAH'S MX

Blake hosted some friends for a great end of the '08 CAMS season! The track looked great, the weather was beautiful, and Blake's KTM was running again...RUNNING FAST!

Blake finished 2nd in the first moto of the Open 4-Stroke class beating much bigger bikes! He then won the holeshot and lead the majority of the first moto of the 50cc Entry class race until passed late in the race to finish 2nd. Then, in his first race on his KTM in a long time, Blake threw down some fast laps, jumped huge, and rode hard!

In the 2nd set of motos, Blake rode hard to finish 2nd in the Open 4-Stroke class and had engine issues that knocked him out of the 50cc Entry class moto. The DNF forced him into last place in the 2nd moto and caused him to fall to the 4th place podium position. Blake had a great attitude about the situation and said he had a lot of fun!

The weekend was a success! Blake finished the season strong and introduced a new family to motocross! Blake can't wait until his first Arenacross race and first CAMS race of '09! Click here to view pics and keep an eye out for a video coming soon.

BLAKE WINS 2ND PLACE & 2ND PLACE AT NOAH'S MX

Blake and his parents enjoyed a great weekend of racing! After much time and hard work, Noah had the track looking great! Blake took advantage right away by finishing 2nd in the first moto of the Open 4-Stroke class. Next, Blake fought hard in the first moto of the 50cc Entry class and finished 2nd there, too.

Blake's lap times sped up in both of the 2nd sets of motos where he finished 2nd in the Open 4-Stroke class and 2nd in the 50cc Entry class to lock down the 2nd place podium in both classes!

Blake's perfecting his aggressive riding position, proper use of gear shifting, and his cornering looks really good! He's come a long way in the '08 season. Look for him at select races of the 08/09 Arenacross series!

BLAKE WINS 2ND PLACE, 2ND PLACE, AND SPORTS NEW GRAPHICS AT NOAH'S MX

Blake displayed great riding skill and ability at Noah's MX! He rode a great race in the Open 4-Stroke Class. He faced almost a dozen riders and Blake rode the smallest bike in the race and finished ahead of 4 bikes twice as large as his to finish 2nd in both motos! He jumped bigger and cornered better every lap!

The 50cc Entry motos were tough with the usual fight between Logan, Hayson, and Blake. Blake finished 3rd in the first moto with only a bike length or two separating all 3 bikes. In the 2nd moto, Blake rode right on Logan's heels all day in the 2nd place spot and Blake and Hayson traded the 2nd & 3rd place positions a few times. They all fought hard and Blake regained the 2nd place spot in the last turn of the last lap to finish 2nd and claim the 2nd place overall podium spot.

Blake rode with new black plastics and new DCS black graphics that make his bike look tough! The skulls are sick!

Blake is currently 2nd in overall season points in the Open 4-Stroke class (this is against bikes of up to 150cc's, 3x as big as Blake's!) and 3rd and closing in on 2nd in overall points for the 50cc Entry class. Blake's football & baseball have caused him to miss some races or he'd be ranked even higher! Blake likes to give the other riders at least a chance against him!!!

Blake had a great day of racing at Crossbones MX. He led the first moto of the 50cc Entry Class until a lapped rider went down in front of him and caused a pile up. Blake fought hard to finish 2nd. He then raced on the heals of the points leader in the second moto and finished another strong 2nd to place 2nd overall in the 50cc Entry Class.

Blake had a tough first moto of the Open 4-Stroke Class by going down a few times and not finishing well. He fought back in the second moto to finish 2nd and won the 3rd place overall podium spot.

BLAKE PASSES FOR 14 POINTS, RUNS FOR A 2 POINT CONVERSION, AND GETS ONE SACK!

Blake is playing flag football at Calvary Baptist Church and is having a blast! He's playing for the Upward Bills and has made some big plays from quarterback and loves playing defense. God blessed us with perfect weather for our first game and the Bills made the most of it. They scored first with 40 seconds left in the first half. A long touchdown run put 6 points on the board.

The Bills came alive in the 2nd half scoring 22 points! One touchdown from a run and two from passes got the entire team involved. Blake passed for 14 points and ran the ball to earn a 2 point conversion. The Bills defense shutdown the Vikings holding them to just one touchdown. Blake earned a sack and knocked down a few passes.

BLAKE WINS 3rd PLACE, 4th PLACE and HOLESHOT
IN 13th 2008 RACE OF THE CAM SERIES AT NOAH'S MX PARK ON JULY 26th, 2008

It was an exciting night of racing under the lights at Noah's MX Park. Blake wheelied at the start of the first 50cc Entry moto but fought back to place 2nd! Then in the 2nd moto he won the holeshot and was leading the race when his chain came off. He continued to have problems with his chain and fought hard to finish strong and place 4th overall.

In the 50cc Entry Blake won the holeshot and led the entire race until he wobbled in some deep sand and was passed on the last lap. In the second moto he wheelied at the start and fought hard to finish 3rd.

In the Open 4-Stroke Blake rode hard against several bikes twice his size and finished 3rd after taking a couple spills. He became faster every lap and looks forward to returning to Crossbones to take a checkered flag!

BLAKE WINS 3rd PLACE, 4th PLACE and HOLESHOT
IN 11th 2008 RACE OF THE CAM SERIES AT HOLESHOT MX PARK ON JULY 13th, 2008

Blake rode strong in virtually impossible conditions at Holeshot MX. After 2 days of raining the track was a muddy mess and when the rain returned in the middle of the first Open 4-Stroke moto the track became unridable. Blake's bike got stuck mud 3 feet deep and the race was called before completion. Racers were scored where they were at that time and Blake finished 4th. He was upset because he believed he'd could have passed a few more riders.

The conditions for the 50cc Entry class moto were even worse and it was decided the racers would run an abbreviated course. Blake won the holeshot and was on his way to winning when his front wheel became packed with mud and wouldn't turn. He literally pushed his bike across the line to win 3rd placed. What a mess!

Flight Training Part 1 (make bigger)

Blake, his dad, and their friend, Matt Ward, have been tearing up a couple tracks near Gordo, AL the last couple of months. The track is pretty cool. It has a motocross track, a supercross track, and a decent kids track. Blake tired of the kids track the first day and is now blowing up the two adult tracks. He likes the jumps on the supercross track and the table tops and doubles on the MX track. Check out the two videos! View a bunch of pics here.
